Maintenance Tips
For hats, proper care and storage are essential. After taking off the hat, do not place it randomly. Instead, hang it on a hat rack or a hook. Do not place heavy objects on top to avoid distortion. If the hat is worn for a long time, the inside and outside will accumulate oil stains and dirt. It is necessary to clean them promptly.
The hat lining can be removed, washed, and then re-stretched to prevent the sweat stains on the lining from getting damp and moldy, which would affect the lifespan of the hat. The dust on the hat should be cleaned frequently. The sludge and oil stains adhering to the hat surface can be gently scrubbed with a soft brush dipped in hot soapy water, then rinsed with clean water. When washing the hat, use a round container or a porcelain basin of the same size as the hat to wear it on top before washing to avoid distortion.
When storing hats: remove the dust, wash off the dirt, expose it to the sun for a while, wrap it in paper, and place it in a hat box. Store it in a ventilated and dry place. Also, place desiccant in the storage box to prevent dampness. Hats are special in terms of cleaning. There are some that cannot be soaked in water (such as feathers, sequins, or hats with lined paper). If the hat is made of cotton, it can be washed. If it has a paper pad, this hat can only be wiped and cannot be washed. Washing it will be unlucky. Because it has a three-dimensional shape, it is very taboo to use a washing machine.
