Baseball cap styling tips + Correct washing methods
1. Color matching
Black baseball cap: Versatile, pairs well with black, gray, and white tops, giving a cool and casual look; suitable for workwear, sweatshirts, and T-shirts.
White baseball cap: Fresh, preferred for light color outfits; pairs well with jeans and sportswear, providing a refreshing look in summer.
Khaki / beige: Retro style, suitable for earth-toned outfits, shirts, and knitted sweaters, providing a Japanese-style casual look.
Colored hats: Choose black, white, or gray solid colors for the upper garment, keeping only the hat in a bright color to avoid clutter.
2. Face shape adaptation
✅ Round face: Select high-top, slightly curved baseball caps, elongating the facial lines, avoiding a tight fit against the forehead.
✅ Long face: Low-top hats, lower the brim a bit, shortening the face length.
✅ Square face: Arc-shaped curved brims, avoiding flat straight brims, softening the jawline.
✅ Oval face: Suitable for all styles.
3. Two wearing methods
Normal forward wear: Suitable for daily commuting and exercise, versatile and error-proof.
Reverse wear: Street youth style, suitable for sweatshirts and short-sleeved tops; not recommended for long-term reverse wear if the hairline is high.
Tips: Do not press the brim tightly against the eyebrows, leaving a little gap for a more natural look.
II. Key points for washing baseball caps (Prevent deformation! Top priority)
⚠️ Do not machine wash! Do not vigorously rub or soak in hot water.
Hard-top baseball caps are prone to collapse and brim deformation when washed by machine.
Hand washing steps
Prepare 30℃ warm water and a small amount of neutral laundry detergent (do not use washing powder or bleach)
Gently brush the sweat stain area on the inside of the hat (the forehead position)
Lightly press and wash the entire hat, do not twist or squeeze the top of the hat
Rinse with clean water to remove all foam
Drying method
Hang to dry flat / Use a hat stand for shaping; dry in a cool place, avoid direct sunlight
Direct sunlight will cause fading and fabric hardening.
Special cases
With embroidery or prints: Do not rub the printing area forcefully to prevent delamination
Wool / felt baseball caps: Suggest using a damp cloth to wipe the area, avoid soaking and washing the entire top
